Service Policies

Clear expectations. No surprises.

Last updated: April 2026. These policies apply to all clients working with EditorsUnited. By starting a subscription or project with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Turnaround times

Standard turnaround is 3–5 business days per batch of videos once raw footage is received. Priority turnaround (included in the 30 Videos Pack) targets 1–3 business days. Turnaround begins when we receive all required raw files and any creative direction. Delays caused by late footage delivery are not our responsibility.

2. Revisions

Each video includes 2 rounds of revisions at no additional charge. Revision requests must be submitted within 5 business days of delivery. Requests beyond 2 rounds, or submitted after the window, may be subject to an additional fee. Major scope changes (e.g. full re-edits with new footage) are treated as new projects.

3. Payment and billing

All packages are billed as monthly subscriptions in Canadian dollars (CAD) via Stripe. Payment is due at the start of each billing period. Work begins once payment is confirmed. We do not offer net payment terms. Invoices are available through your Stripe customer portal.

4. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe or by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged for the next cycle. We do not offer refunds for partially used billing periods. If work has not yet started on a batch, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate.

5. Content ownership

Upon full payment, you own the final edited videos. EditorsUnited retains the right to use the edited content for portfolio, promotional, and marketing purposes including on our website, social media, and in client presentations. If you prefer your content not to be featured, notify us in writing before the project begins and we will honour that request.

6. Raw footage and file delivery

Clients are responsible for providing raw footage in a timely manner and in an accessible format (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, or similar). We are not responsible for lost or corrupted files sent by the client. Edited files are delivered via a shared folder link and are available for download for 30 days after delivery. Please download and save your files promptly.

7. Communication

All project communication happens via email at [email protected]. We respond to emails within 24 hours on business days (Monday to Friday). We operate in English and French. For bilingual projects, let us know your preference at the start.

8. Content responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for the content of the raw footage they provide. EditorsUnited will not edit footage that contains illegal content, hate speech, or content that violates platform terms of service. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
